[Responsible for Consolidation and Restoration Design]

[2012]

Amir Chakhmaq Takiyeh was built around 1296 AH (Qajar period) and is in the heart of the government field which itself is a relic of the Shahrukh Timurid period. On this basis, the construction of Amir in the middle of a historical complex is an added value that was added to the square of the Timurid period in the Qajar era.

The prosperity of the construction of Takiyeh and Hussainiyah during the Qajar period and the fact that Amir Chakhmaq Takiyeh is one of the valuable examples of the architecture of the historical Takiyeh of Iran confirms the historical importance of this building. In this project, a complete understanding of the situation was carried out with new methods of laser scanning and short-range photogrammetry, along with complete pathology studies, especially in the structural fields, with the use of geotechnical and geophysical experts.

These studies were continued until reaching the main cause of the damages and then the restoration and strengthening plan of Amir Chakhmaq Takiyeh was prepared. Due to its form and height, this building had undergone some damage. After a holistic structural investigation of its bed soil and its architectural body, current and potential damages were detected and the treatment design was prepared for it. Constant monitoring of the building during the research period and trying to document and prove the gradual settlement of the building has been one of the most important actions of the consultant in this project.
